MANAGE YOUR WEAKNESSES

(Dangers of Unaddressed Weaknesses)
Below are some of the dangers of unaddressed weaknesses:

1. Character Deficiency: Failure to manage your weaknesses would result to deficiency in your character. (Judas: Acts 1:25)

2. Potential Trap: Weaknesses left unaddressed will limit your growth and hinder you from maximizing your full potentials. (Esau: Gen. 25:34)

3. Destiny Destroyer: Those who fail to manage their weaknesses effectively find it difficult or impossible to fulfill destiny. (Gehazi: 2King 5:27)

4. Self-destruction: Unaddressed weaknesses are potential tools for self-destruction. Weaknesses left unaddressed are killers in disguise. (Samson: Judges 16:30)

5. Negative Example: People use victims of unaddressed weaknesses as bad examples to teach moral and ethical standards in the society. (Hebrew 12:16)

6. Source of Problems: Unaddressed weaknesses can cause problems and pain for you and people around you. (Solomon:1 Kings 11:1-43)

NOTE:
You become vulnerable and susceptible the moment people discover that you have unaddressed weaknesses, they would use such weaknesses as baits to get at you

(Benefits of Having Weaknesses)
1. You are a Human Being: Your personal weaknesses reveal your imperfect nature as a HUMAN BEING and not HUMAN BEEN. You are still in MAKING and not a READY MADE.

2. Opportunity for Improvement: The presence of weaknesses in your life is an evidence that there is always a room to improve on your existing strengths and abilities.

3. Strength Management: Your personal weaknesses are sometimes needed to help you put your strengths into maximum use. They are to help you maximize your strengths.

5. To Appreciate your Strengths: At times, it takes what you lack to help you appreciate what you have. Having personal weaknesses in your life helps you to appreciate your abilities and strengths.

NOTE:
It's never a crime to have personal weaknesses. But it is deadly if such weaknesses are left addressed.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT
What are your weaknesses?
Which areas of your life have been struggling to overcome some unhealthy and unprofitable habits?

Here is what you should know, it is never a crime to have personal weaknesses. But it can only be dangerous if such weaknesses are left unattended to.

Then it requires that you work hard to manage your weaknesses to ensure that they don't limit you nor make you vulnerable.

NOTE:
Moses was a stammerer and Paul had thorn in his flesh, but there is no place in the Bible where God heal them. Yet they fulfilled their God-given destinies. Exo. 4;10, 2Cor. 12:7-9.

I pray with you, your weaknesses will not stop you from fulfilling your destiny in Jesus name. Amen.
